Detoxing – Walk For Health

Although I am very big on cleansing and detoxing; once you are operating at higher nutrient absorption the big question is ‘What is the best foods to eat for maximum benefit?’

Well I was inspired by an article I read last week about Jim Horton who won medals at the US National Seniors Games. He is over 70 years of age. In the 70-75 age group won gold medals in 1,500 meters  and 5,000 kilometer race-walking and third in the 5 kilometer run. His secret to his high performance is to consume green concentrated vegetable drinks which apparently help build endurance and stamina.  He also quote Isaiah 40:31 ‘…They shall run and not be weary,  They shall walk and not faint.’ while training.

I was inspired, so inspired in fact I decided to start walking a few times a week myself. I have already walked two & half kilometers  six times so far, so that is a start, and I am feeling better already.  But today I went with Coco the French Poodle my grand daughter’s dog which we are minding for the next few days. One arm is now longer than the other LOL. On the way back a big loud Rockweiller surprised us with his barking and Coco took off like a startled rabbit with me in tow. It looks like I  will soon be fast and athletic like my younger days; I will be able to compete in the Seniors Games in the 60-65 group.!!   John
