COASTLINES

The world is a busy, noisy place — and everything moves fast. 24/7 news cycles, endless dramas, and social media pressure to capture the perfect image.

It’s easy to forget that stillness exists. That we can find it. Or even create it.

Each photograph here was made by slowing down — not just the shutter, but myself. I spent time along the coast, often alone, using the camera to extend time. Letting the sea soften, the sky stretch, the ordinary become almost weightless.

For me, this isn’t about technique or effect — it’s about attention. About holding a moment long enough to notice what’s always been there: the rhythm of the tide, the drag of the wind, the way light paints a scene when you’re patient enough to wait for it, and present enough to see it.

Coastlines isn’t really about photography. It’s about how we choose to see the world — not in a hurry, not through a screen, but gently, quietly, and face to face.
