Evening Light
Llanddwyn Bay, Anglesey — early evening, near the dunes
The sky was layered — soft cloud above, and just beneath it, a parting for the light. The bay curved ahead in quiet stillness, holding the last of the tide like a breath. A single figure and their dog walked slowly along the shoreline, unhurried and at ease.
As the sun started to drop below the clouds, the light spilled westward across the bay, turning the surface gold. It wasn’t a showy sunset — just the day softening into evening, the light lingering for a while before letting go.
