After the Storm, Before the Light

The storm had passed, but the sea hadn’t quite let go. The wind dropped just enough for the surface to still itself, and the reflections began to form.
I’d gone out with no real plan, just a hope the weather might give me something — and it did. There’s a tension here I really like: that edge-of-night blue, the heavy clouds clearing just enough for a trace of light, and the beach becoming a quiet mirror of the sky above it.
