Golden Light at Town Beach, Rhosneigr, Anglesey

It was a bitterly cold December evening as the sun set. Everything was still and calm. The retreating waves had left a huge tide pool that acted as a perfect mirror that reflected the golden after glow of sunset.

A distant figure walked right into the frame so I waited until he was more or less in the middle. I like balance and symmetry in an image and this person gave me that. It was only later did I realise that there were two others standing on the rocks looking at the dining embers of sunlight glowing at the horizon.
